Since swapping the corporate world in Auckland to the hospitality industry of Taupō, Kim and Scott Forsythe have hit the ground running. They both have a real passion for Food, Love and Art; and after purchasing and running a small, successful café, have now set up Baked With Love – aiming to make people happy through sharing their love of food!. This boutique Eatery and Cakery is based in Taupō, in the heart of the North Island, New Zealand.

Kim & Scott listen to their customers and have a large range of Gluten Free savoury and sweet option, including their famous Gluten Free Doughnuts that people have started traveling from all over the North Island for. Their Keto, Vegan, and Dairy Free ranges are growing too.

Our philosophy is to create delicious food that looks gorgeous too.  To do this we have an incredible team consisting of Bakers, Pastry Chefs, Chefs, Cake Stylists, Kitchen Assistants, Kitchenhands, Baristas and a awesome team of Cafe Assistants. Our senior staff are all seasoned hospitality superstars, and we have a lot of younger ones in our team who we are training to deliver the level of food and service that has become synonymous with Baked With Love

Proudly from Taumarunui, Kim settled in Auckland after her OE. Kim & Scott moved to Taupō in 2013 for a better life style to bring up their young family.

Originally from Palmerston North, Scott spent 14 years in the RNZAF before settling in Auckland. Scott & Kim moved to Taupō in 2013 for a better life style to bring up their young family.


Tass Tauroa

Lead Baker

A Navy trained chef, Tass went on to own his own cafe in Bondi (The Cook and Baker) and has published his own cookbook with the same name. Tass now lives in Turangi.
