GREAT FOOD, GREAT COFFEE, GREAT LAKE TAUPO
The dynamic duo of Kim & Scott have hit the ground running, since swapping corporate jobs in busy Auckland to the hospitality industry in Taupo. Kim & Scott have a real passion for Food, Love and Art; and after purchasing and running a successful small cafe in Taupo, have now set up Baked With Love with the aim to make people happy through food. This boutique Eatery and Cakery is based in Taupo, the heart of the North Island of New Zealand.?
Kim & Scott started Baked With Love by combining this love of food and art to create a unique range of awesome looking and tasting gingerbread cookies for everyone young at heart. Which they sold mainly to cafes and specialty stores throughout the Central North Island. They still make these cookies and sell them direct to customers through the Eatery and at the markets. They also offer a custom cookie service where they create custom cookies for events or businesses.
Then came the requests for cakes. Cakes for any occasion from Weddings to office shouts. Along the way came individual cakes (iCakes), Doughnuts, and Gourmet Cookies. This part of their business has really taken off. After many requests to be able to buy a coffee with our iCakes and Doughnuts, they created a small pop-up Eatery in Taupo for a year to gauge demand. There was plenty of demand and Kim & Scott have now designed, built and opened their flagship Eatery & Cakery at 11 Gascoigne St in Taupo.
Kim & Scott listen to their customers and as a result now have a large range of Gluten Free savoury and sweet option, including their famous Gluten Free Doughnuts that people have started traveling from all over the North Island especially for them. Their Keto, Vegan, and Dairy Free range are growing too.
